P:EAR Artist-In-Residence Opening Reception

Heathman Hotel is proud to host selections from P:EAR’s rotating Artists’ in Residence. Join us on in the Mezzanine Gallery as we welcome visual artist Bernadette Estrada, the team from P:EAR, and members of Portland’s art community.

About P:EAR

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to see a life for themselves beyond the most difficult circumstances they face.

We know that homelessness isn’t a character trait. It’s an experience. When communities work together, that experience can be temporary. We fiercely believe every p:ear youth has a vibrant future. We’re here to walk with them, as partners, friends, and champions as they discover and grow toward it.

About Bernadette Estrada

Bernadette was born and raised in Los Angeles. Taught by the guidance of her father and her own innate artistic calling, she has been painting and creating all her life. She lives with her partner Ruthie in Portland, Oregon.
